Q: What will our club’s name be?
A: We will transition back to our original club’s name, Mobile United Futbol Club.
Q: When will the transition to Mobile United Futbol Club occur?
A: We will transition to Mobile United Futbol Club during our May tryouts for the Fall 2025 season.
Q: Will Mobile United return to its original crest and colors?
A: Yes, we will resume using the colors black, red and yellow with a revised version of the MUFC crest.
Q: Will Baldwin County continue to operate under Union 10 FC?
A: To the best of our knowledge, they intend to continue under the Union 10 name and crest.
Q: What will happen for those participating in the spring 2025 season?
A: During the upcoming spring season, we will continue to operate under Union 10 FC Mobile to finish out the 2024/2025 season.
Q: Will I have to order new uniforms for Spring 2025?
A: No, players will remain in their Union 10 FC uniforms for Spring season only. Uniforms are on a 2-year manufacturing design cycle. Fall 2025 marks the start of the next cycle, so all club players will need to purchase a new uniform at that time.
Q: Will current Union 10 teams proceed with participating in Spring State Cup, Regional’s and President’s Cup?
A: Yes, the current season runs from August 1, 2024 to July 31, 2025. All teams will be completing competitions that fall within their respected season.
Q: What will happen next fall if my team was playing in National League Mid South?
A: National League placement depends on team performance and annual applications. Our history of success supports our ability to compete at high levels, regardless of rebranding.
Q: What level of competition will players participate in under Mobile United Futbol Club?
A: Teams will have the opportunity to participate in tournaments, Across Borders League, Mobile City League, Alabama State League and National League Mid South.
We fully expect to maintain our level of competition. Mobile United FC has a strong history of teams competing at all levels earning placements in State Championships, National League’s Mid South, President’s Cup, and regional tournaments. These successes were part of what enabled our Union teams to compete in the National League Mid South in our first year, even as a new entity. Our goal is to seek out opportunities for all players no matter what their level of skill that will help push players even further in their development.
